European Airshows

European Airshows, a small Facebook page initiated in October 2017, was managed single-handedly by its founder. Over the years, it has grown steadily, attracting aviation enthusiasts from around the world to join its online community.

An Entirely non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting the thrill and wonder of Airshows, is operated solely by volunteers who possess an ardent passion for aviation displays.

Their Facebook page has successfully gathered a significant following of over 130,000 people, with their regular posts managing to engage a broad audience, with each reaching an impressive 50 million individuals every month.

Owen has begun to be published in European Airshow's Channels, and they welcome him to their Team here: View Article

Royal Air Force Air Cadets

Since September of 2022, Owen has been in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets in South Wales. He was fairly recently appointed (approximately 1 1/2 years ago) the responsibility of running his Squadrons Facebook and Instagram Page, with his "Canberra aka Media" flight that he is cadet in charge (IC) of. This was with the complete support of his Officer Commanding in the setting up of, to foster/expand Owens photography passion and desire to join the RAF as a Visual Communicator.

In 2025, he was considered one of the most known photographers in the RAF Air Cadets, with both the Commandant of the Air Cadets recognising his work, but many awards with all of his camps he attended. In addition, Owen has won his squadrons "Communications & Engagement" Award for the past two years in succession, along with a Wing Commanders "Good Service" Certificiate in 2025 and Meritous Service Award in 2024.

Shortly, he plans to attend the Royal International Air Tattoo as part of their main Media Flight, where he is targetting giving it his last shot(s) before soon giving up his cadet rank of Sergeant, to move over to the RAF's rank of AS1 (he's actively working through the application process at present to reach that goal) shortly.

In his time within RAFAC, he has attended 2x National Camps, been on 6x Camps at Wing / Regional level, and attended many award events and events such as VE Day, D-Day and Air Training Corps Sunday (ATC Sunday).

He directly considers them as a partner, as they've helped him grow his portfolio and experience to the point where he finds himself today, and for that he will forever remain greatful for all the support.
