Looking up to others, makes it all...

Who Inspires Me?

Photography is more than a profession. It is a way of seeing the world, feeling its stories, and connecting with the people and places that make life remarkable. There are artists whose work has shaped how I view light, composition, and narrative, and I’m truly inspired by their vision and generosity in sharing their craft.

Iwan Lewis

Iwan‘s work with the RAF Red Arrows brings together precision, motion and emotion in a way that truly takes my breath away. Shooting from within one of the world’s most recognised aerobatic teams gives his images an extraordinary perspective and his dedication to capturing those moments underlines the power of passion meeting opportunity. Let it also be known that we are both very proud of being from Wales - rydyn ni'n caru ein gwlad!

Seeing his aviation photography inspires me to explore new heights in my own shooting, both literally and creatively, as I myself am on an initial pathway to joining the RAF as a Photographer aka "Visual Communication Specialist", where I can only hope to meet the heights that Iwan has, if not exceed then in time.

Whether he’s soaring alongside aircraft in breathtaking aviation photography or capturing quiet, unexpected moments in life, his work always feels alive and full of curiosity. Mark Lynham

Mark’s photography strikes a balance between power and quiet observation. His passion for aviation and wildlife translates into images that are both energetic and soulful. Mark’s journey, such as growing his craft later in life and achieving recognition through awards, is a brilliant reminder that the path of a photographer is a marathon of curiosity, patience, and joy.
